Interior Design
Why?

Life is a journey full of twists and turns and home building and design skills are something I've learnt along the way, more recently formalising them with a diploma in interior design. Having originally worked as a chartered accountant with PwC and then working as a venture capitalist managing buy-outs for 3i my financial and project mangement experience helps projects to run smoothly, timely and very importantly to budget!

My first family home, 17 years ago, was a year long renovation and extension of a period property in SW London. You can make a lot of mistakes on your first project and I wish then I had the foresight to employ the skills of an interior designer. The flow that makes a stylish and comfortable home comes from years of experience both designing and living in different types of flats to houses, in cities, in the countryside and overseas.

I've honed my skills over the years: furnishing a Swiss ski chalet, restoring a 400 year old Mallorcan farmhouse, updating a period flat in Clapham SW4, knocking down a semi-detached council house in Barnes, SW13 only to rebuild it as a sustainable home, amongst many other renovation and design projects in the Midlands..

My latest project has been a contemporary lodge built into the hillside overlooking a beautiful pond and with far reaching views of the Warwickshire countryside. Set in six acres of woodland and meadows but only a mile outside Stratford-on-Avon, this is now where I run my interior design business from. A showcase for kitchen and bathroom design, porcelain tiles and automated blinds, Gamekeeper's Lodge will hopefully inspire you, my future client and is an inspiring location to discuss how we can design your dream home..

So get in touch to see how I can help you manage your project, stay on budget, save money with the help of my trade discounts and fill your home with beautiful fixtures and fittings. Contemporary, country, classy style for your home. sarahfb@mac.com
